Like all of you, my 2020 didn’t go as planned. While my year as IREM president started on a high note with our festive casino-themed member celebration, we quickly were confronted with the COVID-19 pandemic. All of a sudden, nothing was as I planned.
But our chapter, our leaders, our members, and our partners rose to the challenge. We quickly became Zoom experts, with our meetings, our social events, and our education going virtual. Despite all the challenges 2020 threw at us, our chapter had a great year. We continued our mission of providing property managers with the education, networking, and support they need, especially in difficult circumstances.
I’m excited to share with you just a few of IREM Minnesota’s accomplishments in 2020. As I end my very unusual year as president, I’m proud of what we achieved, and I wish Angela Samargia a successful and much less eventful year as she prepares to lead our chapter in 2021.
